Tour Overview

A true north Pakistan road trip. The journey starts at Lake Saif-ul-Mulk in Naran, crosses Babusar Top into Gilgit-Baltistan, explores Hunza's forts and Attabad Lake, and ends in Skardu with Shangrila, Kachura and the Sarfaranga Cold Desert.

You will stay in hand-picked hotels along the route, enjoy daily breakfast, and travel with experienced local drivers. Babusar Top is generally open only in the summer months.

Tour Itinerary

Arrive in Naran in the Kaghan Valley and check in to your hotel. Take an evening walk along the Naran bazaar and the Kunhar river.

Take a jeep ride to Lake Saif-ul-Mulk, set among snowy peaks, and enjoy the boat ride and the meadows around the lake. Return to Naran for the night.

Drive over Babusar Top, one of the highest passes on the route, then continue through Chilas and Gilgit along the Karakoram Highway to Hunza. A long scenic day with several photo stops.

Visit the centuries-old Baltit and Altit forts and the old village lanes, then enjoy sunset at Eagle's Nest viewpoint.

Take a boat ride on Attabad Lake, view the Passu Cones and cross the Hussaini suspension bridge. Return to Karimabad for the night.

Drive via Gilgit to Skardu along the Indus river and check in to your hotel.

Visit Shangrila Resort and Upper Kachura Lake, then spend the afternoon at the Sarfaranga (Katpana) Cold Desert.

After breakfast, free time for souvenir shopping before your airport transfer.
